i have windows xp home im having problems with these software...

windows media player 11...when i click on it nothing happens...
user accounts...i click on this and it comes up a blank page with those 2 people on it...
search function dont work either...

i ran a bunch of anti virus software...
spyware...
avg...and the list goes on and on...
not sure what else to do,thanks...

Looks like a software problem.

Reinstall your windows if you didnīt do that already.





Also, read the forum rules please, donīt use titels like "HELP!" or other useless titles next timei please.

well before reinstalling windows, reinstall wmp11. but im not too sure on those other issues...you probably did have some virus at one time that killed alot of you basic windows functions.

I ha d a similar problem when the Add/Remove section in Control Panel has vanished in thin air. The only (and last) solution was format and clean install.

You should have checked on appwiz.cpl in system32. ;)

That's why. ;) If it happens again, just copy that file over from your source.
