I have the cd of Windows XP with Service Pack 1a....how can I copy it? What program do I use....will windows let me just copy the contents of the disc to the computer, or do I have to use a ripper?

I am confused LOL.....I am trying to dual boot Xubuntu and Xp but XP took up the 10gb partition I gave it PLUS took another 15 for program files and settings. That's ridiculous!! So I'm trying this.

I also need to make sure the Tiny XP I create will work with GRUB but I think I'm not going to go too haywire, just take out things I KNOW I won't need.

My other question is: if you don't have a DLL or something can't you just pop in your XP cd? Or does that not work LOL....

Thanks,

Sandaili

Drag and drop to a folder, usually C:\XPCD.
