Hi! All

I have just got myself an LG Xnote which is shipped with a windows xp home cd and the proc key at the back. The os was installed with only one partition of 80 GB. I repartition the hdd to suit my needs and reinstalled the os but it asks to activate again. Is there any way to avoid it??? as I m a genuine software user (Proudly!!).

There's no harm in activating. If you have to call Microsoft from frequent reinstalls, simply tell them why and they will activate you.

You can use OEMbios files activation,
Read at http://www.msfn.org/...showtopic=63258 & http://www.msfn.org/...showtopic=71016
You will need the original manufacturer media or the system which is on the restore partition to get the oembios files. If you havn't these you can
get a copy from http://www.oembios.net/
