Is anybody successfully running nlite 1.3 (the latest) on windows xp with sp1?

Every time I try to run it, I get a wierd error message about some fips cryptography failure (see attachment for actual error message).

I'm hoping somebody out there can give me some idea of what's going wrong.

I got this exact report from a user using XPSP2, but the thing is he uses .NET3 so that could be it.
Do you use Framework 3 ?

Nope, I'm using framework 2.0 (the link from the download page), and actually stumbled across my own answer with a bit more looking.

In my endless tinkering, I'd enabled a security option to only use "fips compliant algorithms", which nlite apparently is not. After I turned off that option, nlite ran just fine.

Though now it refuses to properly burn a cd (the disc keeps failing verification). However, if I simply create an image, and use a program like clonecd to burn that image, it runs okay. (except for some missing driver files, but that's a whole 'nother issue).
