Hey Guys, What’s happening? I just wanted to get your opinion on picking up a power supply for my next. I am getting a Cooler Master Stacker 830. I need a really good power supply to go along with that case. I am planning to build either a Dual-Core or a Quad-Core System. I am not a hardcore gamer, but I do plan to put a really good Graphic Card (nVidia). I have seen a lot of power supplies out there.

I want a power supply that doesn’t have a lot of wire mess. I want a really clean power supply. As of how many watts I am looking for, that’s where I need your guy’s opinion. SO if you can share your opinion, I would be really thankful.

Also, should I wait to get a new power supply, because Intel’s Plans to put out the new Bearlake Platform. The motherboard might have its own power requirement. So if you guys can share your opinion on this topic too, it would be really helpful.

THX!
P.S. Fusion :thumbup :hello:

I just wanted to be sure that I get the right Power Supply. I know PCI Express 2.0 is coming out in Bearlake and I am not sure if that is gona have any effect on the power supply. I just wanted to know that getting a power supply right now is no problem, thats all.

After reading around, I read that I should go ahead and get the power supply. I just wanted to be sure and don't waste money on a power supply that might now work with the upcoming BearLake Platform.

If you guys can share more opinion on this situation, that would be cool.

Thx again!

well there will be an adapter for the new pci-e connections so you will be fine. if thats really an issue then wait i guess... but if you need a psu then you need a psu, theres no way around it.
