WINNT.sif only partially getting used

Using WINNT.sif to set things up but is seems to only be partially processing it. Upon first boot I still get prompted for a user setup (along with the network setup, and do you want to register screens), but I am not getting asked for the license key...so its at least processing that. Here is the WINNT.sif I am using (some data change---duh).

;SetupMgrTag

[Data]

AutoPartition=1

MsDosInitiated="0"

UnattendedInstall="Yes"

[unattended]

UnattendMode=FullUnattended

OemSkipEula=Yes

OemPreinstall=No

TargetPath=\WINDOWS

[GuiUnattended]

AdminPassword="secret"

EncryptedAdminPassword=NO

AutoLogon=Yes

AutoLogonCount=1

OEMSkipRegional=1

TimeZone=35

OemSkipWelcome=1

[userData]

ProductID=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

FullName="Comp User"

OrgName="Home"

ComputerName=*

[identification]

JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP

[Networking]

InstallDefaultComponents=Yes

I could have swore this worked at least once.

mohammadgerami, what gives? Why the thank-you posts?

I am getting a flagged post notice about these.

Mods have to consider dealing with these. This isn't the way to get a high post count.

I apologise, this post it slightly off topic!

But where does the winnt.sif file go in the hfslip folder structure?

also, whats the difference between winnt.sif/unattend.txt/answers.txt or whatever?

There was a guide for it originally on the hfslip site but I can't find it anymore.

Thanks

Hi gazzat5

It doesn't really matter because HFSLIP doesn't do anything with it.

Either put it in SOURCE\I386 (to have it to begin with), in REPLACE\I386 (to have HFSLIP automatically copy it into the SOURCESS folder without "polluting" your original source), or in SOURCESS\I386 after HFSLIP has run (if you like to do it manually).
