Hey guys!

My mobo is slowly dying out and have ordered a replacement. The mobo's are almost identical and the RAID controllers are the same: Intel 82801. I have my drives set up in mirror. After changing mobo's, will my array stay the same or will I need to re-set it? Thanks in advance.

You'll have to set the new array on the new board. I'm not sure if the Intel controller will let you simply call the two existing drives a pre-built mirror, but at worst, you rebuild the one drive from the second.

Thanks Zxian! I`ll get the new board tomorrow and hopefully have it installed too. Will come back here if there are any issues. Thanks again.

The cargo company sure moved fast! I got the mobo today and installed it right away. I didn't have to set anything up, it started and entered straight into Windows (which required re-activation, of course). Now I have a pc that's up and running fine :thumbup
