The paper says I have Intel Core 2 duo and the little sticker says Centrino Duo is that the same or what?

yes...T7200 is a Core2Duo processor.

Core 2 Duo is a CPU
Centrino Duo is the mobile platform (with a Core 2 Duo , Intel chipsets , wlan , lan specs )
