Nlite : strange behavior services

Hello,

I've already done a first version in 2005 with nlite 0.98, and it was OK.

Now i'm tring to make a new version, with the last patchs, and i've this problem :

I've can't find these services in services management console :

- COM+ Event System

- COM+ System Application

- Distributed Transaction Coordinator

- WMI Performance Adapter

- Windows Management Instrumentation

- Portable Device Enumerator Service

- Terminal Services

This behavior blocks from installing some applications.

I've tried to reduce nlite processing for only slipstreaming sp2 + patches and installation automation (serial number + name), but this does change anything.

Could someone help me. I'm disapointing with this behavior.

Thanks for your help.

Nlite is a marvelous tool !!

The services disappearing may be because of you altering the services settings. Trying setting them all to default and see if they come back (dont remove mystreiously). You may also want to check your files you put in the remove list. Strange things sometimes happen when you put a file in the remove list (even if it is unrelated to the service). You also may want to check your source. Make sure it is a new source unaltered and check sums match. Also your SP2 update pack is one I've never heard of this may also be your problem, Use RyanVM's.

Also post your last session file.

Thanks for your answer,

The services disappearing may be because of you altering the services settings => I thought the same before, so i've build a new version with no customisation option (only with sp2 and hotfixes)

Trying setting them all to default and see if they come back => I've also tried this, no change

You may also want to check your files you put in the remove list => No files in remove list (other than default nlite files)

You also may want to check your source =>Source is OK (Xp Cd + sp2 + microsofts hotfixes)

Also your SP2 update pack is one I've never heard of this may also be your problem, Use RyanVM's => It's only a group of microsoft hotfixes (I can't use RyanVM's because there no french version  )

This behavior is very strange, it seems to be a pb link with hotfixes direct intégration (i'm trying to use alternate integration methode now, but it's too long, 2 hours and itsn't finshed
