We've disabled it for now, server loads were getting high yesterday causing errors when posting a message, we're still trying to pinpoint the problem, but its been running fine today :)

Is that what just caused this...?

Mail Error!

SMTP protocol failure!
Host: localhost
Return Code: 501
Return Msg: 501 RCPT must have an address operand
Invision Power Board Error:
Check your SMTP settings from the admin control panel

(this was at 00:22GMT 19.10.03)

the post appeared ok when I checked back - it just gave me a bit of a fright, that's all.... :)

Yes, we still working on it. Seems that some of our mail servers doesn't have reverse DNS entry.

Also if you have @MSFN.org account try to check SMTP Authentication in your Outlook settings and see what happens.

Everything will be back to normal soon.

Does this explain what happened to the little black dots in the envelopes, to let me know which threads I had replied in? I don't have them anymore ...
