i got a mac for my birthday yesterday,

it's a macintosh powerbook 145 from 1992!!!
it's pretty funny, but it works! it's got microsoft word and a calculator on it!
it's like 4 inches tall by 14 inches wide and 11 inches long,
boy it makes me appreciate modern technology!
i always had a guy telling me i should switch to mac, so i got that for free, and showed it to him... He just laughed!

for now, i'll stick with pc!

I'm at work right now, where I've got my WinXP Pro laptop, Fedora Core 6 workstation, and OSX iMac G5.

The iMac is pretty... but the mouse behaviour in OSX is just wierd. The acceleration curve is way off and there's no easy way to change it. :realmad:

FC6 - I'm getting used to. Yum is awesome though.

And then there's good ol' XP. It just works and doesn't complain. :)

true, so true,...
unless there's something wrong, then it complains constantly,
but if everythig's okay, it's the easiest by far

my mac is like 15 years old!
lookup the powerbook 145, 1992
it's hilarious, because omeone gave it to me, who hadn't ever used it since then, and i got it and boot it up, and it works just like it did some odd 15 yrs ago.
it's a pain to work with though
