Should work on other hard drives, basically a free version of Acronis True Image. :thumbup
Both appear to be the same program and are about 103~104MB download.

1. License Grant. Licensor grants to Licensee a worldwide, nonexclusive, nontransferable, royalty free license to use the DiscWizard software (the “Software”) with Seagate and Maxtor branded disc drives only.

Couldn't see any restrictions about using it on multiple machines, or servers - nice find

100mb!!!!??

****! ( I notice that I can't say D.A.M.N. what gives? Its not a curse word.)

Acronis is only 30.

I got a better utility though:

http://selfimage.excelcia.org/

Its only a couple of megs. It backs up files, folders, or partitions/drives and also compresses them.

There's also a utility for the Ultimate Boot CD or BartPE so you can restore it too.

Save your hard-drive space. Use open source instead.

DiscWizard can'T do partition cloning, it can't clone to a file, it can't clone to a DVDR.
This is not like Acronis True image at all.

It can only do a disc to disc transfert:

Taken from the website:

Data Migration:

If you are upgrading and want to migrate your data from the old drive to the new drive we provide DiscWizard as an option.

So it's not a free version of acronis true image.
if you want Acronis, but don't want to pay/pirate it, you can get the version 7 for free.

I don't know what the web site says, but it can image single partitions, to a file, on local HD or to the network.
