I have removed all network, modem, display and sound drivers. I installed it on vmware 6. every thing goes fine except vmware dont install virtual NIC drivers and give some errors about missing files while installing vmware tools.

Any idea what to remain in order to vmware work properly I can integrate some drivers if some one have them seprately.

I am getting these two dll errors.

tpvmmon.dll
printui.dll

printui.dll Printer support
tpvmmon.dll don't know.

While installing VMware tools I too get only printui.dll missing even if all removed. That's not a big problem just press Ok or put that file in the Keep box or don't remove printer support.

As for not working NIC drivers keep the Ethernet Drivers.

Another option which might work is to integrate the vmware drivers. This
is the method I use but I don't strip all the drivers as you do.

To start you will need to get the contents of the vmware tools 'CD' from
the 'windows.iso' file in the vmware installation directory. Mount the image
using a virtual CD drive (Daemon Tools etc.) or extract the contents to a
directory.

Select 'Multiple driver folder', then the virtual CD drive or the top level
directory as appropriate. Select the appropriate drivers for your O/S and
proceed as normal.

This will also allow you to set display/network/etc. parameters which need
the vmware drivers.

Also, it will not interfere with the subsequence installation of vmware tools.
