ntldr missing with PE 2.0 (SOLVED)

I have used the chm help files and followed their directions to builld and add imagex and PKMgr to build a basic disk, as described. I even used the file and path labeling just as described so as to simplify things even more for me. This is my first attemt useing WinPE, and everything seems to go just fine until I attempt to boot from my cd. From there I keep getting "ntldr missing". This is mainly useing Virtual PC 2007. But the two times actually attempted to load from the disk on a real computer I recieved the same error. I would be glad for any helpful tips or hints at this point.

Seems I needed two files, or atleast I added them and the next test worked fine.

I was missing

WindowsXP-KB914882-x86-ENU.exe

WindowsXP-KB926044-x86-ENU.exe

Had something to do with me useing XP to build the PE disk.

What command did you use, when you did the iso file.

It should be something like this:

oscdimg /bc:\winpe\etfsboot.com c:\winpe\ISO C:\winpe.iso

If you dont have that etfsboot there might be some problems when booting.

Basically the same as in the chm files, something along the line of.....

oscdimg -n -bC:\winpe_x86\etfsboot.com c:\winpe_x86\ISO C:\winpe_x86\winpe.iso

Not sure that is exact as I am not at home or useing my system right now. But it is very close.

I noticed you used the oscdimg /bc:\ with the / insted of a -. Could that be part of the problem?

the line to create the image is

oscdimg -n -bc:\winpe_x86\etfsboot.com c:\winpe_x86\ISO c:\winpe_x86\winpe_x86.iso

I changed this line from:

oscdimg -n -bc:\winpe_x86\etfsboot.com c:\winpe_x86\ISO c:\winpe_x86\winpe_x86.iso

To this:

oscdimg /bc:\winpe_x86\etfsboot.com c:\winpe_x86\ISO C:\winpe.iso

Still No Luck.

Just made another full run of it and found this error, when trying to install packages, the SRT package fails with a No SRT Found. This is the System Recovery Package, but I have no idea where it may be. Seems this has happened with all the tests I have tried, but just now caught it.

Sorry for the additional posting, but I am a total newbie, with no tech background at all, just trying to give as much info as I can with what little I do know.

Found this, another step working for now.
