LS_Dragons
You guys should check out this WAY COOOOOL search tool. It is called Search Bar. A tiny little app that can sit in the Syst Tray and when you want to do a web search - click it - select the appropriate engine for the search and off it goes. Very fast - Very configurable etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!h*tp://go.to/searchbar:blueteam :blueteam :blueteam

LS_Dragons
Yeah - to really appreciate it you have to mess around with some of the configure options. Like you can set up a custom search to use Google (or other) to search the MSFN. Very cool stuff. I have set up a couple - but am still learning about the custom stuff.LS

sedative
it'd be really nice if it could be placed in the taskbar. :/
LS_Dragons
Uh -- give it a try -- it can. You click on it and say 'minimize' and you get a little magnifying glass in the system tray. Click it and up it comes.LS
sedative
i didn't mean system tray, i meant the taskbar.. where the start button is. like how you can have an internet explorer box there.
LS_Dragons
You can do that too, if you mean the Quick Launch Bar. Just open explorer to the search bar folder under 'program files' and right click and drag the exe file to the spot you want it and let go - choose create short cut here. If you are talking about some other spot - not sure what you mean. Check my screen shot...LS

LS_Dragons
Ok - I got you. You mean the address bar tool bar (think that is it's 'real' name). Yeah you are right - that would be cool. If you like the program - email the author. I might do so as well, and suggest that for the next version. If he plans on a 'next' one. Since it is free - maybe not. I like leaving it in the sys tray and double clicking when I want it. Might be a bit hard to add as a tool bar since you can select different search engines, etc. Might give a try to 'custom toolbar. see what happens. I will let you know.LS
