Hi All,

I need some help, I need a VB script or some way of running a local script to place a computer in a workgroup, reboot and then run
a script I have to join it to a domain. The problem is I have no access to the old domain, so I can't use NETDOM as it wants credentials
for the old domain which I don't have.

Thanks,

Greg

Is the old domain still functioning? Can you do this process manually?

I have a script I wrote to do EXACTLY what you want!!! it WILL remove a computer from a domain EVEN if there is NO domain controller available, and then you have the option to join the pc to a new domain, then it will reboot, and you are done! Let me dig it up and I will post it Monday if you reply that you still are in need of this.. I used this to change all the computers we wanted to in our district to a different domain, AFTER we had already disposed of the old domain controller.. It works great!

Might want to give this a try - I've not used it personally, but I have used other scripts from that site with success.
