I have a windows 2003 server that a previous administrator had installed "Terminal Server" on it. We don't have terminal server licenses.
So I uninstalled terminal server to be like the rest of my servers and just enabled remote desktop.
When I restarted my server I was no longer able to remote desktop to it.
I know for a fact I don't need terminal server to remote desktop to a server none of the others have it installed and they work just fine.
I only need at most 2 connections and thats what it is suppose to allow by default.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

Maybe there is a way to reinstall terminal services? Where would I find that?

If you're sure that the "Terminal Services" service is started and running, and that the "enable remote connections to this computer" box is checked, I'd start with deleting and re-creating the RDP-TCP listener in Terminal Services configuration.

Tried that already it didn't seem to work thanks for the suggestion
Maybe after messing with that and rebooting it might start working
looking here
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserve...3.mspx?mfr=true
Oh and for others step one means open mmc
in the file menu click add remove/snapin click add click group policy object editor.
I tried enabling it there but with the same effect.
