Hi,
Just joined, first post first problem! Did a search cannot see a similar problem mentioned! I was trying to create a bootable Windows Media Edition disk from my Emachines OEM. I added Sp3 to the image. I tried to boot from the created ISO file and it tells me that the "[tb]xtsetup.sif file is missing or corrupt, Error Code 14[/b]". I realize this is OEM, so is there something else I need to do to make this image boot? cheers Andy |

Is that like Media Center edition?
They don't work with SP3 slipstream. |

Yes Media Center Edition .... I have since tried using no service packs at all .... no luck, same error. I think this has something to do with the fact that this is an EMachines and the recovery partition/recovery disk are not "full" or even real OEM versions.
Thanks for your response.... Nlite seems to be a great product |
