  1. Try the /? or the /help or the /HELP switches for any help regarding the switches supported.
  2. Refer to this page: $OEM$ Distribution Folders Overview Place the files in the "C:\XP_CD\$OEM$\$$\System32" folder, they will automatically get copied to the system32 directory.
  3. Well thanks, I guess only v3.0 is needed. I totally agree that it takes ages. I know about that issue. Have been facing that too. Haven't found a solution to it as yet.
  4. So Ryan, is it such that only .Net v1.1 & v3.0 would be needed? Please tell me. I'm kinda confused. [P.S. Ryan you forgot to update your signature. You're update pack's latest version is 2.1.9 not 2.1.8; Just trying to help.]
  5. The next time you post, please do not use a font size and color like what you've used. Hurts the eye.
  6. To my knowledge, both are needed. Each of the versions are needed for the software based on the respective versions of the framework.
  7. Dexter could you please tell me how you did the tooltip and the un-hiding thing? Seems really interesting.
  8. LOL. That's the stupidest bug I've ever encountered.
  9. Okay I just realized something. I'm really sorry but it seems that I was wrong. The user password can be encrypted by that method and not the product key. Sorry Again...
  10. Ofcourse you can... Use the setupmgr.exe file contained in the deploy.cab archive in the support folder of the xp cd to generate a winnt.sif file and select the checkbox that says encrypt key. When you read the winnt.sif file in notepad later, you'll see that the key in is the encrypted form.
  11. What the hell is RIS? Could someone please tell me...
