nuhi: How do you, within nlite, turn drop shadows on and off. I've got them off and want to turn them on but whatever I do, it does not work! I've tried all of the following: > 1) System Properties>Advanced>Performance Settings>VisualEffects - check > "use drop shadows for icon labels". > 2) Right-click on Desktop ->Arrange Icons by>Lock Web items must be cleared. > 3) If you have any web content on your desktop, transparency won't work. > To check for web content: Display Properties>Desktop>Customize > Desktop>Web - make sure all checkboxes are clear. > 4) Wallpaper must be an image file, not html. So I figure if I know what nlite does, I can undo it. At least I hope so. If not them maybe if I know what nlite does to turn them on, I can try that. Please don't make rerun nlite. EDIT: I just checked my .ini file and drop shadows are supposed to be on. Thanks SoylentGreen PS: It's a great program!
