thought you guys might be more helpful than the MS newsgroups... ever since SP1 came out, I tried to install it on two systems. one was an enterprise machine. to make the story shorter, the update failed and I downloaded enterprise with SP1. Installation went fine. Since this weekend the system is unusable: need to activate again 0xc004E003 (I guess after the last installation this must be the third or fourth time I have to activate ?) this is my company laptop with the company mak key I even purchased a technet plus on my personal account and tried that product key yesterday : 0xC004F050 WTF ?! There is not much software on the laptop: standard office, acrobat. I use it mostly to vpn in to the company LAN, so don't think there is a virus or something. can't remember having received a driver update or something either. guess I'll have to call MS ... can't imagine that I'm the only one to have this either?
