  1. I've forgotten how nice the old start menu is. I've tried to use the new menu for months now, but the initial pain still hasn't gone away.
  2. One more small error (I believe). Text inputted into the Start Menu's search box is the same color as the "Search programs and files" message string. I believe the text shouldn't be the same color. It should be black, not grey. Old eyes on an old man. EDIT: Maybe this behavior is now default in Windows 8. Other search boxes also have this behavior. Ugh. MS made icons smaller and text harder to see...
  3. As far as I know, the lower left-hand corner is on to-do list, and likely it will be available soon. I cannot reproduce this bug, but other folks may be able to. Can anyone else confirm this bug? I think re-producing may be difficult. It's on a Macbook Pro running Windows 8.
  4. I posted my donation. So I think I can comment Can you please restore the lower-left hand charm? Well it's not really a charm. To access this menu (with startisback not installed) I can move the mouse pointer to the lower left-hand corner and right click. This is very useful. Other than that I see an issue on a laptop when going to the Metro start menu. To produce: 1. control+windows key to go to Metro Start menu 2. Notice that the cursor is the windows "hand" icon. 3. I have to click anywhere to bring the Metro start menu to the forefront. This is the issue. 4. Click on a tile to select it. My laptop was running a previous beta and this is also seen on Beta 4. My desktop does not display this behavior. Thanks again.
